PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT) is an Indonesian mining company which operates the Batu Hijau mine. AMNT owns several other most promising prospects of copper and gold located in West Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Batu Hijau mine is the second largest copper and gold mine in Indonesia and a world class asset.

We commenced production and operations in 2000 and have produced approximately 3.6 million tonnes of copper and 8 million ounces of gold. We have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles. We also are driven to continue our operations by developing the significant potential of the Elang deposit and the Nangka prospect, which form part of our ongoing assessment.

We own all of our facilities that include a large fleet of mining equipment, a processing plant with 120,000 tonnes capacity per day, an 112-megawatt coal-fired power plant, a port with a ferry terminal, air services, and an established townsite.

Arifin Panigoro

Arifin Panigoro is a prominent Indonesian business player and also a founder of Medco. In 1980 he established Meta Epsi Drilling Company marking his first foray into the oil and gas industry. Now the company has grown into the Medco Group with subsidiaries spanning multiple sectors from energy, construction, agribusiness, financial services, IT solutions, to property. Since 1998, after resigning from the management of Medco, he has served as an advisor to MedcoEnergi where he plays a key role in identifying new oil and gas business opportunities.

Markus Permadi

Markus Permadi is a respected figure in the banking industry with nearly 40 years of experience. Markus has held senior positions in Citibank, Bank Central Asia, and Bank Mandiri before he shifted towards more advisory roles as commissioner in various companies including Star Pacific, Bank National Nobu, and First Media. He had also assumed public service role within the Ministry of Finance and as Vice Minister in the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises. Markus is actively involved in social activities as the secretary of Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan.

Andi Hadianto

Andi Hadianto offers years of experience in mining and construction. For over a decade, Andi is the President Director of PT Multi Daerah Bersaing and PT Daerah Maju Bersaing, which is a joint venture between the Government of West Nusa Tenggara Province, Government of West Sumbawa and Sumbawa Regency.

: Rachmat Makkasau

Rachmat Makkasau has been the President Director of PT AMNT since November 2016, bringing more than two decades of experience and extensive knowledge in the mining industry. He began his mining experience with several mining processing expansion and projects start-ups in Indonesia. His proven ability in creating business stability allows him to gain trusts from various stakeholders within national and international market. He plays a major role in ensuring smooth transition from Newmont Nusa Tenggara to a new national ownership under PT AMNT. He is also an active member and advisor for several Indonesian mining association.

Agus Projosasmito has a very influential presence in the Indonesian capital market for more than three decades. He led the consortium acquiring PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara adding to his credentials in highly intricate financial and mining industries – such as PT Danareksa (Persero), PT DBS Securities Indonesia, PT NC Securities, PT Nusantara Mahabakti, PT Ithaca Resources, and PT Maduma Coal Energy. Agus is also a committed member of several capital market associations in Indonesia.

: Alexander Ramlie

Alexander Ramlie has extensive experience in the financial and mining sectors and played an instrumental role in PT Amman Mineral Internasional’s (“AMI”) acquisition of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (now renamed PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara, or "AMNT") from Newmont Mining Corp. and Sumitomo Corp. Before joining AMNT, he managed PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk as its President Director and Chief Executive Officer; he was then concurrently a Director of Bumi PLC, and Vice President Commissioner of PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk. Alex obtained a Master degree in economics from Boston University.

: Arief Sidarto

Arief Sidarto has extensive experience in the financial services and corporate sectors. He was previously Managing Director and Member of the Board of PT Rajawali Corpora, a diversified Indonesia business group in palm oil plantation, gold and other mining, properties, transportation, infrastructure, and media. He plays prominent role in the Finance and Investment Committee; member of Ethics Committee, and Audit & Risk Management. Prior to that he spent most of his time primarily with Goldman Sachs starting in New York in 1991 and subsequently running their investment banking business in Southeast Asia. Arief graduated with MBA from Harvard Business School and dual degrees with summa cum laude from University of Pennsylvania.

: Dr. Naveen Chandra Lal

Dr. Naveen Chandra Lal marked a successful 20-year profession in developing and operating mining, mineral processing, and integrated infrastructure business in Asia. The holder of a Ph.D. degree in Science from Jadavpur University, India, has co-authored numerous technical papers on Indonesian Coal, which were published by the American International Journal of Research in Formal, Applied, and Natural Science. During his seven-year stint in Indonesia, Dr. Naveen was responsible as the President Director of PT Trimex International Indonesia and previously Managing Director of RESCOM Metal Ores Trading LLC in Dubai.

: David A. Gibbs

David Gibbs is a mining engineer with nearly 40 years of technical and operational experience. As an undergraduate, he worked as an underground tin miner for Rio Tinto, England in 1976 and since graduating in 1979 has been involved in underground and open pit mining predominantly in South Africa, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Thailand, and Indonesia in several miners including gold, copper, uranium, diamonds, coal and talc. He has worked for major corporations and for juniors, and as a consultant.
